Q:Where is the Mediterranean Poker Party held?

A:
The MPP will be held at the brand new Merit Royal Diamond poker room with 200 poker tables.

Q:Are there hotels nearby?

A:

Yes. Merit is a complex in North Cyprus with several hotels to choose from to suit different needs and budgets. More information about hotels, including discounted rates, can be found on our Venue page.

Q:How do I book a hotel?

A:

To book a hotel for MPP you can purchase a room directly with the the Merit Team by contacting meritpoker@meritnet.com for the discounted rates mentioned on our Venue page.

Main Event

Q:How much is entry?

A:
Entry to the MPP Main Event cost $5000 + $300.

Q:Can I re-enter a Day 1 on the same day if I’m eliminated?

A:

Yes, the MPP Main Event allows +1 re-entry per Day 1.

Q:Can I buy into Day 2 of the MPP Main Event directly?

A:

Yes. Players are able to buy into day 2 directly and re enter if they bust before late registration closes. If a player carries a stack through from any of the day 1s, they are allowed to enter and re enter on day 2 within the late registration period

Q:Will the overall winner receive a trophy?

A:
Yes, the winner of the MPP Main Event will receive an official trophy.

Side Events

Q:Can I re-enter a Day 1 on the same day if I’m eliminated?

A:

Yes, all MPP branded events allow at least +1 re-entry per Day 1. The format for each event can be found here.

Q:Will the winners of the side events receive a trophy?

A:
The winners of the MPP branded and Partner branded events will receive MPP side event trophies.

Luxon Pay Noir Upgrade

Q:What does Noir VIP status mean?

A:

Customers with Noir VIP status will not be charged any fees on their transactions including any currency exchange charges.

Q:How do I qualify for a Noir VIP Upgrade?

A:

In order to qualify for a Noir VIP upgrade, buy in to the MPP Main event or purchase any MPP package via Luxon Pay.

Q:I have previously been upgraded to Noir VIP status via a promotion am I still eligible?

A:

Users who have previously been upgraded to Noir via another promo will not be eligible for the upgrade.

Q:I am already a Noir Luxon Pay user, is there any advantage for me to buy an MPP package / MPP Main Event entry via Luxon Pay?

A:

Yes, Luxon Pay offer exclusive discounted packages to players who buy their package via Luxon Pay.

Q:I want to be upgraded before I buy my package so that I can benefit from free currency exchange before I buy my MPP package / MPP Main Event entry is that possible?

A:

If you would like the upgrade to be placed on your account in advance of your purchase, please email mpp@dtdlive.com.

Q:How long does it take for my account to be upgraded to Noir VIP status after I purchase my MPP package / MPP Main Event entry?

A:

The upgrade will be placed on your account within 72 hours of you buying in to the Main Event or purchasing a package.

Q:How long will I remain as Noir VIP status after purchasing my MPP package / MPP Main Event entry?

A:

Your Noir VIP status will remain in place till the end of September 2022.

Q:If I buy a package or tournament entry via Luxon Pay, how will I receive my winnings?

A:

If you buy a package or tournament entry via Luxon pay, your winnings will be paid into your Luxon Pay wallet.

Q:Can I buy a re-entry via Luxon Pay?

A:

Yes, if you bought a package then you can simply purchase a re-entry like a regular buy in. If you have purchased just a Main Event entry and wish to re-enter on the same day, you will need to open the previous transaction in your transaction history and click “Send again”.

Luxon Pay Free hotel nights

Q:What are the discounts for buying a package via Luxon Pay?

A:

If you purchase your MPP package via Luxon pay, you will receive at least one free night please see the promotions section for the detailed discounts.

Q:What is the difference between each hotel?

A:

All of the hotels are all-inclusive and within the Merit complex, except the Riverside which is half board and is off site.

 

The Diamond hotel is where the poker event is hosted and is brand new premium hotel.

 

The Crystal Cove is a firm favourite with the regulars and is only a short walk / shuttle away from the poker event.

 

The Merit Park is a more affordable option and a regular shuttle runs between the hotel and the poker event and takes around 5 minutes.

 

The Riverside is not all inclusive, however it offers a very affordable option for guests who wish to stay offsite. Those playing the poker event will benefit from the free poker buffet.

Q:Are the hotels all on site?

A:

Yes. All hotels are onsite except for Riverside hotel.

Q:Are all the hotels all-inclusive?

A:

Yes. All hotels are all-inclusive except for Riverside hotel.

Q:Are all food and drink options included in the all-inclusive?

A:

No, some speciality restaurants are an additional cost and not included in the all-inclusive. Some premium drinks are not included in the all-inclusive however can be purchased at an additional cost.

Q:Are the dates flexible?

A:

No. If you buy a discounted package the dates are specific. However, you can add additional days for an additional cost.

Q:Can I add additional dates to my package?

A:

Yes. You may email the DTD Live team at MPP@DTDlive.com to add additional nights to your stay. There will be an additional charge for this.

Q:Can I add additional guests to my room?

A:

Yes. You may email the DTD Live team at MPP@DTDlive.com to add guests to your room. There may be an additional charge for this.

Q:How much are additional guests?

A:

Each hotel has different prices for additional guests. This depends on the age of the guest and whether the rooms can accommodate them. You may email MPP@DTDlive.com with queries regarding additional guests.

Q:How do I pay for additional nights / guests?

A:

A member of the DTD Live team will contact you and give you the exact cost for additional nights / guests and you can send payment via Luxon Pay by following ‘Transfer’ > ‘Transfer to Merchants’ > ‘MPP Hotel Packages’ > ‘Transfer to MPP Hotel Packages’ at the very top and enter the specific amount you need to send. This will be received instantly by the DTD Live team who will arrange the hotel booking on your behalf.

Q:Can I cancel my package? Will I receive a refund?

A:

Luxon Pay

Q:Can I buy into MPP events using Luxon Pay?

A:

Yes, you can buy in to all events using Luxon Pay. Visit ‘Transfer’ then ‘Transfer to Merchants’ and select the event you wish to play from the list of MPP events. Find out more information here.

Q:Can I re-enter using Luxon Pay?

A:
Yes, click on your initial transaction for that event in your transaction history and choose ‘send again’ to send a re-entry for the same starting day of that particular event.

Q:Can I send money for cash games via Luxon Pay?

A:
Yes, visit ‘Transfer’ then ‘Transfer to Merchants’ and choose ‘Transfer to Merit Casino' and you can enter an amount of your choice to use for cash games.

Q:Can I get paid back into my Luxon Pay account?

A:
Yes, all players who buy in via Luxon Pay will receive their winnings back into their account once the tournament has finished.

Q:Can I use my Luxon Pay account to buy another player into the event?

A:
No, all Luxon Pay buy ins must be in the correct players name. However, you can send money to a friend via peer to peer instant transfers and they can buy in themselves directly.

Q:Can I use my Luxon Pay account to exchange currency?

A:
Yes, if you need to exchange your funds to another currency to buy in to any events you can exchange currency instantly within your wallet. All players who buy in to an MPP event will be upgraded to Noir VIP status and receive no currency exchange fees until 30th September 2022. To be upgraded in advance of buying in please email mpp@dtdlive.com.

Q:Are there any fees when using Luxon Pay?

A:

There are no fees to buy in to all events or get paid back into your wallet. The only fees you might see are related to currency exchange and withdrawals, however for all players using their account for MPP will be upgraded to Noir VIP status and receive no currency exchange fees until 30th September 2022.
